Frequently Asked Questions

01

Are you the main photographer or does someone else take the photos + videos for the day?

We will always be your main photographer + videographer for your event!

02

Do you recommend having a second photographer/videographer?

Do you recommend having a second photographer/ videographer?

Absolutely! They are always helpful to have (regardless of guest count) because:

- They help us keep things on schedule by coordinating with others while we are taking photos/videos. This means more quality time with you/more images, and allows us to do our job without running around grabbing people/items.

- Additional Photo or Video angles during your ceremony! This is a big one- we can’t be in two places at once.

- If we are running behind on schedule, our second shooters are trusted enough to capture two things at once (bridesmaids + groomsmen etc.).

- Our Second Shooter will be additional eyes on your wedding day! They will help make sure your florals are placed correctly, rings/jewelry are centered, and the dress is fluffed!

03

How long have you photographed/filmed weddings?

We have been shooting weddings for seven years now!

04

How would you describe your style?

My style is a bright moody style- meaning I love playing with the contrast of shadows with pops of vibrant color. I consider myself a documentary photographer- we want your final gallery to feel like a complete story with a setting, time, beginning, and end. We love candids, but will also help you pose!

05

How do you help couples feel comfortable in front of the camera?

Having an open and candid relationship with us is very important. We believe communicating  with clients about their likes and dislikes will help direct us to better poses that reflect the couple’s personality/preferences! We use our engagement sessions as a trial round. During this time we try a variety of poses to:

- See what angles/poses are the most flattering

- Get you comfortable in front of the camera- not everyone is used to being photographed!

- Help you decide what poses/styles you like the most!

Playing games, asking intentional questions, and giving clear visual and verbal posing direction is a part of this process.

06

Can we book photography or videography services separately?

Of course! We love the opportunity to work with other friends in the industry!
